5 -library, bookcase o bookshop?-
Nota d'usoOccorre fare attenzione a non tradurre letteralmente il sostantivo libreria con “library”, che significa biblioteca (sia come edificio pubblico, sia come stanza in una casa). Il sostantivo corretto per indicare il mobile che contiene i libri è “bookcase”: Questa libreria è troppo piccola per tutti i miei libri, this bookcase is too small for all my books. Il negozio in cui si vendono i libri è invece chiamato “bookshop” o “bookstore”: C'è una bella libreria qui vicino, there's a nice bookshop near here.English-Italian dictionary > -library, bookcase o bookshop?-
